Privacy policy
The short version: our games and apps have no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and they never ask for your name, email or an account. The only data involved is what Apple, Google or Steam handle when you buy something.
1. Who we are
Volcanic Pig ("we", "us") is a one-person independent games studio. This policy covers all Volcanic Pig games and apps on Steam, the Apple App Store and Google Play, and this website.

2. What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. Specifically:
- Your progress and settings are saved on your own device. They aren't sent to us, though they may be included in your device's own backups (such as iCloud or Google backups).
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple, Google or Steam. We only receive confirmation that a purchase happened, so the app can unlock what you bought. We never see your name, card or payment details.
- Crash reports from the stores: if you've chosen to share diagnostics with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can turn this off in your device settings at any time.
We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking tools, we don't use your advertising ID, and we never sell data.
3. Stores we work with

4. Game-specific details
No ads, analytics or accounts. Everything you create in the app is stored on your device. Optional in-app purchases go through the App Store or Google Play.

5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under UK or EU GDPR, or California law), you have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we don't hold personal data, there's usually nothing for us to hand over or delete, but you're always welcome to email us with any question. Requests about purchase records are best made to Apple, Google or Steam directly.
If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
6. Children
Our games and apps are made for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect any data from children.
7. This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
8. Changes and contact
